C4Leaders is committed to ensuring that our website, c4leaders.org, is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that all visitors should be able to access our content and services, and we work to provide an inclusive experience for the widest possible audience regardless of ability or technology.

Our Commitment

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the widely recognized standard for making web content more accessible, and they inform the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as applied to websites. Measures We Take

To support accessibility, our website includes:

  • Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images, with decorative images marked so screen readers can skip them;

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We periodically review the site, address issues as we become aware of them, and consider accessibility when we add new content or features.

Conformance Status

We consider the site to be in substantial conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Substantial conformance” means that while most of the site meets the standard, some content may not yet fully conform. Accessibility is not a one-time achievement, and we continue to work toward full conformance across all pages and content.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations may exist. In particular:

  • Some third-party content, embedded tools, or documents (such as PDFs, forms, maps, or media hosted by outside providers) may not be fully accessible and are partly outside our direct control;
  • Older content or media may not yet meet all current standards.

Where third-party components fall short, we will work with the provider or seek an accessible alternative, and we will assist you directly in the meantime (see below).

Compatibility

Our website is designed to be compatible with current versions of major web browsers (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) and with common assistive technologies, including screen readers and speech-recognition and screen-magnification software. Using the most up-to-date versions of your browser and assistive technology generally provides the best experience.
